Accrual postings open item management

Dear all,

When I try to make accrual postings (with Accrual Engine) to an account with open item management I receive the following error message FAGL_POST_SERVICE012:

"Postings to G/L accounts with open item management are not permitted".

New G/L is activated, we use only one ledger.

SAP ECC 6.03

I am not using foreign currency in this example (i am not concern by the note 884639).

I need this account to be processed with open item management. How can I fix this problem?

Hi:

I think Note 814821 - RFSUMB00: Ledger as selection criterion describes your situation well. You need to debug the the program and find the event that leads to this error message. Please check if your ledger group field is having value in it. If this does not solve your issue then you may raise an OSS note to SAP Support.

I send a message to SAP. The answer : Unfortunatelly it is not permitted to post within New GL in Accrual

Engine to Open Items Accounts. The reason for this is that

Accrual Engine makes ledger specific postings and later during

clearing there could be created inconsistencies in tables.
