ESS error: has grouping value "741" instead of ""

Hi,

When employee try to create a direct deposit on ESS, they are getting an error of (grouping value "741" instead of ""). When I tried to fix the error with program RPUFIXDS, there is no error found for the employee. Please provide some solution for this issue.

Thanks for the answer, I have done all that mention in that note, and the problem still exist. The error msg is kind of strange as typicalling it is <Has grouping value " " instead of "08", then this case it is the other way around. Have any of you seen this before?

can you put 10 and 08 for this employees and verify .

The issue can occur when an infotype is modified thru the transaction

PA30 and the ESS. To correct it, please set the flag CCURE/PC_UI to

'X' as indicated in the note 783499. Afterwards, modifying any

record in the transaction PA30 will set the value GRPVL to the

correct value.

chekc the table T582G for the Infotype grouping value or can you maintain it?

Thank you so much for the respond, P0003-viekn = '10', and P0003-grpvl is blank for the employee. I run the report RPUSCNTC you mention in your reply, and I did got a time constraints issue in IT439.

Multiple employees are not having problem with the grouping value issue.

Thanks for the reply. I've did the 3 steps and flag for CPRFN in table T582A for IT0002, IT0006 and IT0009 are all blank, we are still seeing the issue.

also can you tell us what the molga is set for the employee in PA0003 in Viekn

and GRPVL value maintained for the infotype?

have looked at the SAP note 1447867 and activate the

switch CCURE/PC_UI and run the below three reports to fix the issue:-

1. RPUFACECPRFN

2. RPUFACEVIEKN

3. RPUFIXDS

The report RPUFACECPRFN is executing the following steps:

- for all primary infotypes which have the flag 'Copy Infotypes' in the

table T582A checked (field CPRFN), the grouping reason will be set to

'XMOL' if no entry exists yet in the table T582G

- for infotypes 0002, 0006 and 0009, the grouping value will be set

to 'XMOL' independently of the existing entry

- clear the flag CPRFN of the table T582A.
