SAP Installtion stopped at Configure Oracle network step with sapinst

I am installing ECC 6.O on Oracle 11G , Oracle SW has been insalled successfully , but sapinst stopped at "Configure Oracle network step" with the error as below

I got around the problem by replacing host name with IP address in tnsname.ora file

Did you install the Oracle software when sapinst requested you to do so or did you install it before you started sapinst?

Yes , Oracle 11G SW has been inistalled when sapinst prompted, and it is stopping just after oracle server sw install and client sw install at "Configure Oracle Server network" step and canot strat the listener and ends up with error

Check

> the trans.log from R3trans -x

> the listener.ora

> the tnsnames.ora

> the sqlnet.ora

> the listener.log

> the environment variables of <sid>adm and ora<sid>

Check the result of the following:

lsnrctl status

tnsping <SID>

connect /@<SID>

I have just got around the problem by replacing host name with ip address with tnsname.ora file , Thanks for all the clues, guys

check database is running or not then check listener is running or not if running try tnsping command see if it replied by oracle or not.
