Sourcing/CLM 7 /IE 8: E-Sourcing cannot display this page.

Good Afternoon,

We are experiencing the following issue when logging out of Sourcing/CLM:

1) Log out

2) Try to log back in and recieve the following page:

E-Sourcing cannot display this page.

Click the browser back button to the previous page.

I can get by this by closing the browser and opening up a new session. I'm wondering if this is a common issue or possibly an IE or sourcing setting that's causing this.

FYI- This is consistant behavior for system, enterprise and buyside/sellside user accounts.

Thanks in advance,

Kyle

This issue was resolved after making changes to the cluster configuration.

Hi Upendra,

Can you let me know the cluster configuration performed. We are also facing the same error "SAP Sourcing cannot display this page."

Hi Upendra

I too face the same issue after ESO upgrade.

Would be great if you could share us the cluster config to be done in ESO to resolve the page display issue

Thanks & Regards

Hi Chandrasekaran,

Did you understand why you are getting the 'Page cannot be displayed message'?

I get it when I try to call Sourcing from Portal via SSO - logon tickets.

(I also got it when I forgot to add the Sourcing_supplier_role or Sourcing_purchaser_role to a new user in UME. But that's fixed.)

Can you please let me know whats in the log files? To check if we have a similar issue or so...

..

Reshma

I am facing the same issue. Did anyone find a resolution to it?

Hi Kyle,

It is probably a cluster configuration issue. You might want to check if the host name, cluster members and port are setup correctly.

Another place to look at is, properties on the Directory Configuration.

Thanks Vikram,

I am recieving this behavior when using the system account (even when I deactivate the cluster and internal and specicfy the default cluster in the url). Would this not rule out it being a cluster issue?

Cluster information:

Inactive & Default set to False

External ID:xxx.xxx.xxx

Display Name:XXX Cluster

Context:XXX SAP CLM Context

Host Name:xxx.xxxx.com

Hostname Aliases: None

Port:50,000

Settings:

Force redirect to use SSL instead of incoming protocol

External hostname is accessed via HTTP only -TRUE

Cluster can only be accessed via HTTPS -FALSE

Automatically add new services to this cluster -FALSE

Enable load balancing on this cluster -FALSE

Load Balancing Domain:-FALSE

Load Balancing Method:-FALSE

Lowest Current User Count FirstCluster Members:-FALSE

Service Host Name Port Active

XXXX xxx.xxxx.com P true

Kyle

Just to provide some extra feedback:

Logging in with google Chrome / Firefox (although not supported) works immediately.

Sometimes I cannot login for a while. Then I have to kill the process iexplore.exe and open up a new browser before it works.

We are working on a fresh system and are using the default system cluster. I don't think it is a cluster issue.

Hi Bram,

When you log in with Chrome (I assume using system) can you log out and log in again without closing the browser session. I still need to close the browser session when using chrome.

Thanks,

Kyle
