Issue in configuring GRC AC 10

Former Member

Hello Gurus,

We are currently implementing GRC AC 10.

We have done all BC set configuration and other settings and connection to ERP system using RFC's.

When we try to schedule job

SPRO>GRC>Access Control-->Sync Jobs -->Repository Object Sync (Increemental & full sync)

the job does not fetches any objects from Backend system(ERP).

When checked in Tx: SLG1 it shows a "yellow" mark with message

"User Adapter is empty".

The job "Authorization Sync" has worked properly .

Please suggest , what could be the problem.

Regards,

Victor

Hi Victor,

You have not performed all the steps. there are total of 5 stpes required to create a connector.

1) SM59

2) SPRO --> Governance, Risk and Compliance --> Common Component Settings  --> Integration Framework --> Maintain Connectors and Connection Types

3)  SPRO --> Governance, Risk and Compliance --> Common Component Settings  --> Integration Framework --> Maintain Connection Settings

4) SPRO --> Governance, Risk and Compliance -->Access Control --> Maintain Connector Settings

5) SPRO --> Governance, Risk and Compliance -->Access Control --> Maintain Mapping for Actions and Connector Groups

Thanks and Regards

Apologize for reply to an old query..

Victor,

Is your issues resolved. I am having the same issue..Roles are syncing but not the users.. in SLG1 it says " user adapter is empty"

Ankit,

I have performed all the above 5 steps you mentioned.but still not sure what am missing....Role Sync is working but only user sync is not fetching any users..

Hi,

I am sure you must have done mapping of scenarios to the connectors.

All the four scenarios should be mapped.

HI,

Before running the User sync job: Check as follows:

1. Go to transaction LDAP

2. Connect to LDAP connector

3. Try to find an user entry by giving CN=<value>

4. Click on Find

If this is not working fine then check the LDAP configurations again.

Hello Victor,

You need to run the Full Synch for LDAP Connector from GRC system to resolve this problem.

Please run the Full synch. If the error continues after that, can you please check if note 1611677 applies to you?

I hope this helps you.
