data source is either fot Real time data acquisition or standard load?

Hello

We are on SAP BI7.01

Is it true that every data source (that support real data acquisition) should be either used for real time data acquisition or standard data load? If data source is used for real time data acquisition that standatd delta load (once a day) no longer possible?

Hi,

Yes, If we use DS for Realtime then delta will be only for Realtime DS,coz Data will get update on frequently to BW hence delta pointer will chnage when ever data extracted to BW,

So if use DS for Real time delta will work for Realtime only, we dont get delta for standard DS.

Hi Guevara,

If data source is supporting for RDA then it should be used for RDA only, so do not use it like standard data source.
