Hi,
We are configuring CHARM on solution manager 7.1, how do we handle non-sap changes[os patches,db patches] through charm?

You can define these changes as adminstrative changes.

Probably you need to create your own custom transaction type which will be used for this type of changes. You can define your own status and action profiles according to your requirement.
