In MM of forecasting view there is filed Hist. periods which you could have probably maintain more than 12 months say 60. So starting from current months it will go backward & search value for last 60 months. In your case it is not finding any past values. Have you maintain it in Additional data of material master Consumption tab ? Maintain some values for months & then try

Yes, I have one Consumption tab in Additional data of material master.
In there, there is no data for unplanned consumption, but there are values for total consumption (and same figures for corrected value) from January 2006 till Oct 2011.
Is it what you mentioned? If yes, why do you think this still does not work?

can you check by putting some values in unplanned consumption.
Then I got a result when I execute forecasting but based on manual entries in unplanned consumption...which is not what I want.
I want that system takes total consumption which comes automatically from the past consumption.
Any ideas?
Finally find solution by my own.
Problem comes from MRP type which was PD (MRP) for my material and needs to be changed to VV (Forecast-based planning).
