I have a webi document, in xcelsius, I used live office to connect to webi. In the first dashboard, I work fine.

But when I work the same for another dashboard (still using above webi documents). My step in the second dashboard not difference with the first dashboard. But I get this error in the second dashboard .

I ran again dashboard 1 after dashboard 2 error, dashboard 1 still working fine.

I known have some thread for this issue, but these thread is closed along time ago and I can't get solution in these thread.

Please help me.

Thanks

Hai

It is a generic error. try to update all objects and find the non updated elements.

surphr how many web intelligent proccesing servers do you have enabled?

This is generally a security issue. You need to assign appropriate viewing rights to the users to the back end Live office data sources. Ex. if you are using a universe query as a source, you should assign viewing rights to the Universe and the underlying Universe connections (in the connections slection of CMC)

Hi,

I have assigned viewing right for webi documents.

As the first comment, I have worked fine with dashboard 1, when I create dashboard 2 with same webi documents, I get error.

Thanks

Hi Naveen,

Thanks for your support.

I have checked webi document. Everything worked fine. I re-export webi query to CMS and view on Infoview sucessfully.

Dashboard 1, that also connect this webi is work fine, but dashboard 2 is error.

I don't think version of liveoffice is reason of this error, because dashboard 1 work fine. But, I'll check and update version of Live Office, I hope it work.

Thanks

Hi ,

My BOE server have version 12.1.0

Live Office version 12.1.882

When I install update live office , I get information " SAP BusinessObjects Live Office XI 3.1 FP6 Update can not install because the version if the product on the system is too low". I understood BOE version is too low. But with some reason, I don't want update BOE upto new version.

Who have another ideas, please help me to solve problem " Failed to get the document information. (LO 26315)"

Thanks

: This error can occur due to several reasons such as

Connectivity failure ,

Authentication failure etc.

I have also seen the same error occuring sometime when we try to refresh heavy data on run time so it also depends on Connectivity speed and numebr of user logon at the same time.

I hope this will help you analyse your issue.

In order to get rid of any such issues basic thing is to check authentication and connectivity then look if there is anything unusual happening on your dashboard.

Try to minimize teh data that refreshes at run time.

Hi,

This error may come due to authorization failure in Backend BW system.

In my case live office connection was running fine, but the user was not having access for a infoprovider in backend. As webi are ultimately using query in backend. So user must have authorization for queries in backend.
