Delete customer from a sales area

Hi Gurus,

I have assigned one domestic customer in export sales area by mistake. Though I have blocked that customer using XD05 for that sales area, i want to stop him from appearing in the list of export customers while I make a search. Is there any way???

Hello,

You can't delete a customer master from database. Otherway is to archive, but it is a bit complicated and not advicable for 1 customer.

You can set the customer for deletion OR block the customer for business activities. But still it will appear in the search, it is standard.

there are some reports you can try SAPV019 (SD) and SAPF019 (FI) , if there is no documents created for this customer.

Use OBR2 to delete customer completely.

Hi Gino,

Go to T-code VD06>specify customer number and sales area to which you dont want to allow him for sales transaction and enter.check the box selected sales area.

If you do this the customer can not make a transaction in that sales area.

Note: customer can not be deleted from data base parmanantly.So even it is blocked it will appear in customer list

Hi

XD05 is to block a customer for a particular sales area.

If you dont want that customer created for the export sales area, then try setting a deletion flag in XD06 for that sales area.

hi,

Use deletion flag in extras in menu ..in XD02..there is no option to delete customer master data.
