Operating system call gethostbyname failed (error no. 11004)

Hello,

I am getting error messages("Operating system call gethostbyname failed (error no. 11004") once in 6 mins in system log SM21 for user WF-BATCH. Several applications are using this user (EDI, Workflow, WMD e-invoicing,..)

I checked the host entry in OS level , all the entries seems to be fne.

Thanks for your reply. I exactly did what you have suggested. But finally I have implemented SAP note 1122184. That worked!!
