Hi,
Date management means defining date, duration, date rules. Then after we define date profile which we assign to transaction type. It is used to monitor the dates in transaction. It help us to escalate the transaction if not accessed for defined duration. Triggers reminder say 1week before contract ends.

Hello All,
We have redesigned the CRM page on the Help Portal (<a href="http://help.sap.com/crm">help.sap.com/crm</a>) to include much more information, and to act as a "one-stop shop" for CRM knowledge products. We hope that this will be helpful for you!
Are the links on the page useful for your work? Do you like the design? Or should we just go back to the old page? It would be great if you could give us your feedback in the survey that is available on the new page.
Best regards,
Christopher

Gregor,
A must have on the list is the new
SAP CRM Middleware Optimization Guide Book from SAP Press:
http://www.sap-press.com/product.cfm?account=&product=H1994
I finally got my copy of the book this week, and anyone who does anything with CRM middleware needs to read this book. It will be a good refresher for those who are very experienced, and a tough introduction for those just starting.
The diagrams in the book explaining "where" each part of the middleware process occurs are invaluable.
Take care,
Stephen
The IC Web Client Cookbook is available here:
<a href="https://websmp101.sap-ag.de/~form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000647974&">CRM Documentation</a>
Follow the heirarchy to SAP CRM -> SAP CRM 2005 -> CRM Core and Standalone Components
The document is called Interaction Center (IC) WebClient Consultants Cookbook
I trust this will reduce the need for people to ask for this document to be emailed to them.
You will of course need Service place access.
regards,
Nigel James

Hi Gregor,
You have really done a very good job starting this thread.
Is there any way to avoid fellow SDNers posting replies to this thread asking for documents or for links? I feel that this thread should contain info only about the links, similar to the thread NEW WEBLOGS by Vijaya Kumar.
As a moderator if possible, please do delete the replies which doesnt have info about the links (including this) and add a comment to your first post asking our fellow SDNers not to reply to this thread unless and until they have some links to post.
Thanks & Regards,
Karthik.
Hello Karthik,
I will create a Topic "Links to CRM Documentation" this weekend where I extract the information from this thread. I will format and order it. This thread will be closed, so only I can edit it. Till now I haven't deleted any reply. I will do if there are to mutch requests.
Regards
Gregor
Good idea. Here's a couple more.
Rather than asking others for installation guides, always download the latest one. They always ask you to read certain notes anyway:
http://service.sap.com/crm-inst
If you need information on the latest SAP solutions, it can be provided:
http://service.sap.com/rkt-crm
There is also a search box on this page. It can be very useful. So can Google.
You can use Google to search http://help.sap.com - eg to find help on item categories:
<a href="http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=en&q=CRMitemcategorysite%3Ahelp.sap.com&btnG=GoogleSearch&meta=">CRM item category site:help.sap.com</a>
The ability to use search engines rather than disturbing colleagues should be a required skill for any IT worker in 2006.
Cheers
Dom
