Change the Status in CATSDB table ( Function Module?)

Hello Friends

Is there any way that we can change the status of the CATSDB table?

I want to change the status from 10 ( In process) to 20 ( Released).

I tried using the Function Module (BAPI_CATIMESHEETMGR_CHANGE), but however I use it, it changes the status from 10 to 30 (Approved) and skips the Released status.

Please note that, the workflows in this process are disabled and we are using custom programs to send emails instead of workflows.

Any useful inputs will be appreciated.

Hi

When you are recording the time sheet, the status will be "Inprocess" 10 in CATSDB.

When you save it and Release it, it will update as 20 - Released for Approval in CATSDB.

When you approve the Time sheet it will update as 30 - Approved.

So, the Released status will be automatically maintained by the SAP system when you save and release the hours for approval.

Thanks for the response.

After I save the timesheet, I will be running a program to submit the timesheet instead of user manually doing it on the timesheet.

I want to change the status from 10 to 20 programatically. Is there a way to achieve it?
