NO SAMPLE UNIVERSES IN BO 4.0

Hi Experts,

I am new to BO 4.0, in order to understand the information design tool , i am not finding any sample universes which we used to get when installing BOE 3.1, can any one help me up to know whether are we going to get the samples like efashion and island resort in this aurora also.

It would be appreciated if you could share any use full documents related to BO 4.O LIKE WHERE TO START UP AND end .

We converted the efashion.unv to a unx. It allows you to familiarise yourself with the conversion tool as well as having the well known sample universe available for testing.

     You still get sample UNV and database provided with BI 4.0 install is the eFashion.UNV, efashion.mdb (Access DB) and WebI reports.  If you did a full install of BI 4.0, you can find the files in

C:\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\Samples\webi\

You also get so Island Resorts Marketing.unv &  club.mdb.

In additions to previous post :

BI4.0 comes with good old regular efashion universe and you can find club in /samples directory as well.

BI4.0 doesn't have sample .unx universes (the new universe format) - but you can easily create one by converting efashion into new format in IDT.

For Auditing, there are no universes or sample reports. However, you can download them from this link:

Still, you should have old universes that you can migrate using IDT.
