CX_SY_CREATE_DATA_ERROR in SOLMAN 7.1

Hi All,

We are getting the "CREATE_DATA_UNKNOWN_TYPE" dump regularly in our solman7.1 system after the inital configration is completed.

Attaching the log for your reference. Can someone please help to fix the issue ASAP.

What happened?

Error in the ABAP Application Program

The current ABAP program "SAPLSMD_FUNC" had to be terminated because it has

come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.

Error analysis

An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.

The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_CREATE_DATA_ERROR', was not

caught in

procedure "SMD_DATA_LOADER255" "(FUNCTION)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING

clause.

Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the

exception would occur, the current program is terminated.

The reason for the exception is:

The dynamically specified type "/BI0/V0MSS_C05H2" at CREATE DATA is no valid

data type.

As per the thread raised on yesterday resolved by activating BI Content,

Hi Guys

Thank you all of this post. We were facing a similar case on our Solman 7.1 and with your help we managed to solve it.

I just want to add one more thing; after you implement SAP Note 1342231 & SAP Note 1110013, you need to run T-code SE38 and run the report CCMSBI_SETUP_E2E.

Only after we did that, we stopped getting the Runtime Dumps.

Hi there,

In our case also (Solman 7.1 SP 05) doing 'run T-code SE38 and run the report CCMSBI_SETUP_E2E' helped to get rid of the dumps.

Another useful KBA is 1680556 - CREATE_DATA_UNKNOWN_TYPE CX_SY_CREATE_DATA_ERROR /BI0/.

Hi All,

Same problem over here. The dump occurs about 7 - 8 times a minute (!).

We're running a 7.1 SP4 instance with SOLMAN_SETUP completed succesfully and version 6 of composite note 1633725 applied.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Do you observe this dump occurring around 30 times in a day in your solman ?

It is dumped every minute, almost more than 10000 dumps a day.
