Dear all,
In MD04, the first column (i.e. Date) can meant either a receipt date or a requirement date.
I am having problem to try to recognize if a particular row in this tabe is belong to either one of the above as because there are so many MRP elements.
In another word, how do I tell from first glance on MD04 that this date is a Receipt date if the MRP element is this and that, and this date is a Requirement Date if the MRP is this and that.
Can you category for me what MRP element is belong which of the date?
Thanks.
Tuff
Hi,
You can tell which element is receipt or requirement element by looking at the rec/reqd quantity column in MD04. If quantities are positive then the element is receipt, when negative it is requirement.
Regards.
Hi,
You see the planned/requirement date on the first column.
Planned / requirement date = planned delivery time(mrp 2 view) + PO processing time + GR processing time.
Delivery date which automatically picked in PR/PO = planned delivery time + PO processing time
Hence always planned if you verify the delivery date in PR/PO and the planned delivery date, its always diffferent if you entered some value for GR processing time. It will be same if GR processing time is Zero.
Hope this helps.

ind requirement, independent requirement order ds, pr req rel etc are requirements
plan order, po, PR etc are receipt
requirements are shown with a negative sign
Hi,
I would filter as follows -
Positive qty - Receipts - Delivery date in case of MRP elements related to external procurement (like PR, PO, Schedule lines, SNs, etc); Basic finish date in case of MRP elements related to internal procurement (like Production orders, Planned orders, Simulative orders, etc)
Negative qty - Requirements - Requirement date as in MRP elements like SOs, Reservations, Dependent requirements, PIRs, etc.
