Unable to find portal application in the deployed list in CE 7.3

Hi Experts,

I have created a test portal application for CE 7.3 using NWDS 7.3.

I could see my ear file under Deployment view and also, see the jsp page in the browser.

But I need to make an iview using this component and for that it should be visible under

Portal Content-> Portal Applications.

Thats where the issue is, I am not able to see my custom component in that list.

Has anyone faced such an issue..Please let me know , which step am I missing ?

Hi Niwas,

That is exactly what I said, that I can view the application and component in the Deployment Persepctive of NWDS.

But I cannot see it in Portal Applications folder in PCD.

Hi Juhi,

Have you checked in Portal Applications as well as in WebDynPro Java Application repository. If you configured the server correctly in NWDS the applications which are deployed will be visible under the particular repository.

Did you find the application? Please help me. I have also deployed a custom jsp application, however I could unable to find under portal applications or webdynpro applications.

Hi Juhi,

If you have deployed your Portal application through NWDS 7.3 , then you can check whether the application is deployed in EP Server 7.3 in that NWDS itself. Go for deployment view you can get the list of applications deployed and you can see your application in the deployed components list. After that you can check it in portal under Portal application list.
