Dear All,

We have migrate our current system to SAP BI 7.3 sp05 release.

When we are loading request with 0 records in a cube, the request is not in a activated status.

Request stay in yellow status and not green status.

Do you know how to correct this issue ?

Hi Greg,

We had the same issue. I happens because of an inconsistency in the control tables. there is a one time activity that needs to be done per cube/DSO.

When you are in the manage screen of the infoprovider, goto Environment->Automatic request processing->Check option Set quality status to OK.

This will automatically refresh the status of the request.

Hope this helps.

Regards.

Hi,

check RSDG_CUBE_ACTIVATE for cube for one cube for eg.

Then see transformations are active for one cube...

RSDG_TRFN_ACTIVATE

then see if REQUID and some standard objects are delivered correctly and active,.

Else debug and check..

DSO activation always we have to do it manually in case u are loading manually

or you have to add step IN Process chain as in BI7.X version things are not happening automatically.

Thanks and regards

We had something similar happening recently. However it only happen to infopackage using transfer rule instead of transformation. Upon checking details in process monitor, the infopackage failed with error message 'Error occured in write_ic for data target' and 'Error occured in UPDATE_INFOPACKAGE for data target'.

We fixed the issue using following steps:

1. Drop cube content

2. Execute the report RSDD_RSTMPLWIDTP_GEN_ALL

3. Please execute the program RSDG_CUBE_ACTIVATE.

4. Execute the report RSAU_UPDR_REACTIVATE to activate update rule.

5. Execute infopackage.
