Activities in ECC:
SAP back-end system with enhancement package 5 for SAP ERP 6.0 also activate the Quality Management: Extensions in FMEA and Q-Notifications (OPS_QM_EXTENSION_2) business function
There are some of the are mandatory(required field) in SNC when quality notification comes from ECC.
Now these fields should be mandatory while sending quality notifcation to SNC for that you need to implement SAP note:1323484.
Maintain date calculation based on priority in SAP ERP,
Goto Customizing for Quality Management under--> Quality Notifications > Notification Processing>Response Control-->Define Priorities.
Activities in SNC:
Master data as same as for other scenarios:'
Business partners for customer and supplier
Internet users for customer and supplier
Customer location and ship-from location
Location products at the customer location
Transportation lane & Means of transport
Activate the quality alerts:7425,7420,7421,7422
Path Customizing for Supply Network Collaboration under Exceptions --> Alert Type Activation --> Activate Alert Types
Number Ranges:
Quality notification number
The customer maintains the number range attribute for the quality notification number on the Web user interface (Web UI) (in the customer view) under
Master Data > Number Ranges>Number Range Attributes , by specifying the interval type QN (Quality Notification).
The customer maintains a number range interval for the quality notification number on the Web UI under
Master Data>Number Ranges>Quality Notification Number Range Intervals .
Technical quality notification number
The customer maintains the number range for the technical quality notification number in Customizing for Supply Network Collaboration under
Quality --> Determine Number Ranges for Technical Quality Notification Number
Note that:The quality notification number range must be the same as the external number range for notification type Q9 in the back-end system.
Do not use prefixes or suffixes for the quality notification number range in SAP SNC.
The length of the quatliy notification number must not exceed 12 characters.
In your SAP back-end system, the number ranges for the Q8 and Q9 notification types must not overlap.
Maintain default Process Types for XML Messages:

Codes and Code Groups
Suppliers and customers use codes to classify the subject of a quality notification and the problem being reported in a defect item. You define codes in Customizing for Supply Network Collaboration under
Quality-->Make Settings for Quality Notifications
