Hi,

Can any one tell me how to find our the default CMS name from my new BO 4.0 Installation. Also can I add more CMS to BO 4.0 if so how to do that.

Also where I can set the input / output file directory for reports in CMC(Bo 4.0)

Please advise.

Thanks,

Use the SAP Note 1449399 by visiting

https://websmp209.sap-ag.de/notes

They have a tool that enables us to modify any placeholder value.

hello,

you can equally use the system configuration wizard in CMC to modify the location of your filestore.

but before that be sure you have copied all the filestore content into the new location.

Hi,

Generally your hostname should be your CMS name, You can verify that in Login to CMC - navigate to Server and you can see the CMS name with hostname.

Log into the Central Management Console (CMS)

Go to Servers

Expand Core Services and expand the properties for the Central Management Server (You can see your server name)

Input FRS Server : Properties : Change the path to new copied loc.

Output FRS Server : Properties : Change the path to new copied loc

Is there any way to edit the %DefaultInputFRSDir% to set a different location, if so please advise how to do that.

Also is there any specific permissions required for any particular services to access the new location?

Thanks,

In CMC--> Server --> InputFileRepository & OutputFileRepository, at the File Store Directory, change from

%DefaultInputFRSDir% to D:\FileStore\Input (or your preferred path)

%DefaultOutputFRSDir% to D:\FileStore\Output (or your preferred path)
