Hello,
I want to change the interface language of the crystal reports designer in visual studio 2010.
It is in Dutch an I need it to be in English, since I always work in English and with the english keyword I can find more solutions on the internet.
I tried everything what I can thinks. I spend a whole day looking for a solution. Like
- changing all regional settings to English
- rebooting
- Upgrading to SP2
- uninstall and new install (after reboot)
- Change Internet settings to english
I have install SP2 (CRforVS_13_0_2.exe).
I have an English version Windows 7 Proffessional (32bit).
I have Visual Sutdio 2010 Proferssional - ENU - SP1.
I did read all manuals I could find, but still the CrystalDecisions.VSDesigner.CodeGen.ReportCodeGenerator is in Dutch and also Formula Workshop, etc...
The only thing I
Could somebody please help me.
Thanks,
Bernard Dijkstra
Hi Bernard,
CR uses what ever the local CodePage is set to.
From the Start menu type in Region and go into the Region and Language Settings. Make sure they are say English.
Close everything first of course.
Under the Administrative tab click on the Change System Locale... and be sure it's set to English.

I ready changed the system local to English (US) before I posted this message.
I tried al the solutions I could find but none worked and I rebooted my system several times since last changed the settings.
We are still looking for a solution.
I still find it strange that such a basic setting is not working right
I didn't find solution yet, can anybody please tell me what to with the probelm above described?
Thanks,
Omair

Hello Bernard
There was a forum thread similar to yours I worked on a while back:
The last post from me has a few suggestions, but I never got a confirmation that any of those helped. Please see if any of the troubleshooting steps will apply.
My suspicion is that the originator of the above referenced thread simply gave up.
