CG02 Characteristic is not Displayed for Entry

Dear All,

I have created a Characteristics and attached it with class of Type 100. Now I have also run CGCZ to match up master data. But still the field of characteristic is not available in CG02 when I click on the property tree.

Can anyone help me in this regards. I shall be thankful.

Hello Hammad,

You need to execute the IMG Activity "Set Up Table-Based Value Assignment" in the EH&S customizing.

Thanks Mark,

I have Setup Table based value assignment now. And got the characteristic field in CG02.

Now it is not saving the data in that field and giving error.

"An error occurred when saving table (EST)AUSP"

Can you help in this regards.

Hi Hammad,

This sound to me like something went wrong with the setup of the table based value assignment.

Did you add the entry for the missing characteristic manually?

If so please try to delete all entries for the Value assignment type and regenerate all entries for this VAT (Value assignment type).
