Unable to load PAT file

Hi,

I've generated PAT file from source system of basis release 701. I tried to load this PAT file in a customer system which is of basis release 700. It is throwing error as SAPK-701COINT***** has an invalid basis release 701.

Is there any way to resolve this?

Please help me urgent.

Hi,

You are trying to upload pat file of release 701 in release 700. So, the error message you are getting is correct. It is not possible to upload file of 701 release in 700 release.

Hello,

You need to download support package that matches the exact release you have, it's easier if you download and approve them in solution manager.

Hi,

You need to download the relevant package for BASIS release 700 from SAP Service marketplace and uncar it in ../EPS/in of your directory. For different release system, you cannot just copy the .PAT and .ATT files and put it in EPS/in.

The issue can be maybe this .PAT file has import condition on BASIS 701 system.

Thus, it is always recommended to apply the Support Package Stacks instead of individual package.
