disp+work.exe is not working in ecc6.0 with sql database

Please check the dev_disp and dev_w0 logs in teh location:

..\usr\sap\<SID>\DVEB..\work

If the ABAP comes up then the Java stack also could come up.

I guess you should first check your sapstart.log, to see which profile is being called. check sapstartsrv.exe if version is consistent with disp+work.exe, and sap services is maintained startup properly (Control Panel -. Administrative Tools -> Services)

then check if the profile is ok.

then check dev_disp dispatcher log for error, in case disp+work.exe has been triggered to startup...
