Porblem in JAR Tracking of WATER Buiseness

Dear ALL,

My client has a water business,

Scenario: We have 20 Liter jars which are our materials. Firstly we send this jars to co-packers for filling waters and after filling of jar with water we sell it to the customers against Jar we take security money from the customers. After consumption of water the customer send back the jar to us.

Problem:

1) What material type i will use for the JAR.

2) How i will track it the system that how many jar i got form the customers and how inventory should we maintained.

3) How the Purchase & sale process should we map in the SAP, so that it will work fine.

4) What are customization & configuration needed in the system

Kindly suggest me the full details and help me

first thing material type is important

you qty update only or qty and value update for Jar ?

what you have give here it indicates you are interpreted in qty update only

Now

1) What material type i will use for the JAR.

Follow Jurgen given Link and decide the things

2) How i will track it the system that how many jar i got form the customers and how inventory should we maintained.

create customer as vendor and got jar inside through movement type 501 or create free of charge goods indicator in PO

while taking jar back you are paying to customer against it? not clear yet

how inventory should we maintained.: You have to ans what you and your client want ,business is your

as you said you are saling jar with water so you have create material code with material type FERT

and one material code for Jar without water

How the Purchase:- you have to provide details what you are procuring to make char ,you are not given it

4) What are customization & configuration needed in the system

1) Material type for Jar with water material code

2) material type for jar without water

3) create customer as vendor while taking jar empty jar back

Maintain JAR as Returnable packaging Material, Use Material type LEIH
