Unfortunately there seems to be no direct option, only way is to drag the border of the legend box.

The Legend cannot be 're-sized', it can only be 'moved'.
You may create this as an Enhancement at https://ideas.sap.com.

Try to expand the Chart by using Arrow options and then expand the Legends section.
