Create New Expense Repor

We have upgraded to ECC 600, level 702. We are implementing Traveller Work Centre (ABAP Web Dynpro application FITV_POWL_TRIPS). When I test the application from SE80, click on the All My Expense Report tab, click on the Create New Expense Report button, the Create Expense Report (application FITE_EXPENSE) is successfully launched. However, when I perform the same action from an iView that I have created, the application (FITE_EXPENSE) is not launched at all (FITV_POWL_TRIPS is launched ok). Has anyone experienced this before? I am wondering if I need to make a setting in the iView. ........

Hi,

Collect [HttpWatch|http://www.httpwatch.com] traces to see whether a request is sent when pressing "Create New Report".
Perhaps you can spot some error in the httpswatch traces.

Are there any errors in the default traces which may be relevant?

I have had this issue when not using the FQDN. Make sure the address you are using to access the portal is http://portalname.domain.com:54000/irj/portal.

Doublecheck also the PCD path is maintained correctly and corresponds with the homepage framework for Travel resources;

For example EMPLOYEE_TRAVEL_TRIPFORM_SRV_12.

PCD Location in the content administration of the portal:
Pcd:portal_content/com.sap.pct/every_user/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.
bp_folder/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.iviews/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.
travel_expenses/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.tripform

The URL string in the resource EMPLOYEE_TRAVEL_TRIPFORM_SRV_12 mjust also be
the same.
