TRL Date in TPM18

Hi All,

We have just upgraded from 4.7 to ECC 6.0 and we've noticed that when we do TPM18 for derived business transactions, a new field (TRL Date) is required. We were just wondering what is this TRL date and if it is really necessary to process TPM18? If it is not necessary, how do we change the field status from required to optional? Please advice. Thank you!

Hi,

TRL Date is an abbreviation for Treasury Ledger date and it is a mandatory field for TPM18. it specifies on which specific (Ledger) date you want to carry out derived business transactions.

hope this will help you.

Hi,

So is there no way to make this an optional field? Is it also safe to say that this is the same as the posting/transaction date?

Thank you!

Hi,

>> So is there no way to make this an optional field?

it does not make sense as this is mandatory input to carry out TPM18.

Yes, it is the same as the posting date. Regarding the transaction date I would be very careful as you might run TPM18 for some period, e.g. 1 week, etc. and consequently your transaction date will be different from posting date.
