ERROR UCF6744 while executing COI Task (Total Divestiture)

Hi All,

We are divesting an entity. For this we have updated the period / year of divesture in the master data. After this we executed the Task for Consolidation Group Changes. While executing COI, we get an error UCF6744 - "Item 'Transfers to minority interest' not defined"...

The error message states - "If you use the Partial Divestiture as Equity Transaction Function, you have to specify the posting item Transfers to Minority Interest in Retained Earnings....."

However we have not activated Partial Divestiture as Equity Transaction Function in System Utilization Settings (for COI). We found SAP Note 1303812 for this issue. However this note is already implemented in our system.

Has the activity for divestiture been recorded via either Additional Financial Data ot totals record? If not this may be part of the solution. Simply updating the master data does not consitute a true COI divestiture.

Another possibility is there is a bug that should be reported to SAP via customer message.
