    PAcking not possible

    Hello  Gurus,

     

    I created a Delivery and was able to Pack through Handling unit. After saving also it was showing me the Packed material.

     

    But now again i created the Delivery with the same material and Packaging material, Sales area, plant(everything same), when i pack clicking on the PACK icon, it gets packed. But then once saved, it does not show me the Packed material. Also the PAcking status says "Not relevant for Packing".

     

    Kindly let me know what is going wrong. Its urgent.

    Also where is this control maintained for Packing relevant or not for the material.

      Pl follow below process

      Do customization setting related to packaging material :

      SPRO-LE-Shipping-packing

       

      Create packaging material ( MM01 u2013 material type u2013VERP)

      Select view u2013 basic data 1 /sales org 1/2/ salesgen/plant WM view 1

      Basic data 1 : GenItemCatGroup u2013VERP

      Matl Grp Pack.Matls :

      Sales org 2 : Gen. item cat. Grp :VERP

      Sales:general/plant

      Packaging mat. Type :

       

      Note down material number.: Pack001

       

      T-code POP1

      PackInstructn : enter desired name or number

      P : Pack001                1

      M:material number : M001     10

       

      In OBD : select material : click on pack

      Enter packaging material

      Select material and HU line and click on pack

       

      Save.
