It is popping up the error message :

Please help me to fix the problem.

Any help greatly appreciated...

Adding to whatever Henry has asked above, I would like to know if the report has prompts. If it has prompts, did you try entering new values (rather than refreshing for the values that would be retained from previous refresh)?

Hi Mahesh,

thanks for the effort however that very KB article is for Excek connectivity and we don't know what the reporting DB is.

Without the information that Henry asked it is like shooting in the dark

Thanks!

Simone

Hi,

Sadly, that error is totally generic and doesn't tell us anything..

You should start by searching this forum, but ideally, search the knowledge base : www.service.sap.com/x-search or ../notes

you should also consider/confirm: Version, SP, Patch level

your database/datasource: Vendor, Type (olap/relational), Version, SP, Patch

Do you get the same in infoview?

Do you get the same error when running WRC in 3-tier mode vs 2-tier mode?

At what stage in the workflow do you get the error? i.e. are you expecting a prompt?

have you tried Trace on the application, then analyzed the logs? What extra information do you see?

Best of luck

regards,

H

p.s. if you have any questions about the above precisions, please search the forum first before asking them. Thanks
