Hi All,
Is there any out of the box functionality provided in NW 7.3 to display system specific messages like server downtime, upgrade etc information.in the enterprise portal ?
If not what is the best way to do so?
Thanks&Regards

Hi Antony,
If you prefer migrating your WD Java application to 7.3 instead of using the new feature provided by SAP, then you can follow the following documentation:

Hello Rashika,
Did you try the Standard News in the collaboration iView and make it available to the users in the Home or default role?
Thanks and regards,
Vivek.

Dear Radhika,
You can use the Broadcast messages ( [First |http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/1585] [original link is broken]; and [Second |http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/1587] [original link is broken]; ) to custom develop in the NW7.3
Also you can create the WPC pages for Broadcast messages and show in the SAP Portal.
Hope it will helps
Best Regards
Arun Jaiswal
