loading data from ODS to CUBE.

Hi mates,

iam loading data from ODS to cube, right click on ods select option update data in to targets. once i do that where i get window to select full load and delta , but where i can see those infopackage of cube .

Just to add one more point, you can find the 8...infosource under the datamart section of Infosources. Like Ricardo said sometimes if you don't find it make sure you change the settings to say display all generated objects.

Only one more thing: if you do not have this area you can activate from Business Content in terms of DM Application Component.

when i select the ods and right click on that . if I select genarate export data source , that will creat a infosource with 8<odsname>.

Hi hari,

yes it will create a DataSource, an InfoSource (8ODS), and then you will need to create your Update Rules.

InfoSource will be stored in DataMart Application Component (if not present activate it from Business Content - First check in Generated Option objects).

I do not remember but if I am not wrong it also create an InfoPackage: if so do not use this one (because generally you are not able to change anything) create your custom one.

PS: Also Kedar is answering you in a correct way: I always think that is better to enlarge friends club

Hi hari,

In InfoSource area search infosource with "8nameODS", you can find corresponding InfoSource - InfoPackage and create your own InfoPackage.

If you do not find this InfoSource, in InfoSource area select Ctrl+F3 --> Display Generated Objects.
