Migration of Universes from BO XI R2 to BO XI 3.1

Hi All,

Anybody please help me out in the following question.

1. Can we Migrate the universe from BO XI R2 to BO XI R3?

2. If Yes, Then can you please give the procedure by step by step.

3. Is there any impact if we are migrating universe from BO XI R2 to BO XI R3?

4. Is there any impact if we are migrating reports from BO XI R2 to BO XI R3?

Hi,

1)Yes you can migrate the universes from XIR2 to XIR3.1

2)To migrate the universes , you can use importwizard tool wihich will come along with BOE suite.

3)To know how to migrate and use the imortwizard ,go throug the import wizard guide at the following link

Everthing else will have to be dealt with on an adhoc basis as you encounter it.

To answer you original requirement, there is no documentation which lists "all of the things which may possibly go wrong"
