The SAP GUI can run on standalone. But can fetch sap data only if it is connected to the sap server.

This question does not make sense.What do want to ask i dont understand. Sap GUi is a frontend to connect with Sap Application. it runs on stand alone computer, but need a network connection to connect with SAP.
