Hi all,

I got some exp on HR in technical.

Now I want to take the certification exam in HCM .

would be glad if anyone explains me how to go ahead with self study and do I need any hands on with IMG and stuff like this.

all advises are appreciated.

Hello Bharat,

I did recently cleared HCM certification. My understanding is if you read and understand the SAP HCM manuals then you wont have any problem in certification test. Ofcourse the more hands-on-experience you have on IMG, the better understanding you will get from those manuals.

this is the latest one,in which payroll has undergone changes...now it has more percentage than b4. THR10 &THR12 r the required courses that will help u clear it mostly. they r SAP's training material and r available only thru authorised training partners of SAP.

The point is if the courses you have mentioned as alternative to Consultant Academy courses for certification preparation are really enough.

please let me know, in any case i would be glad if you can tell me where to find the new material viz. THR12, SAP125, ERP001,ERP030, SM001.

Hello Bharat,

Academy course comprises of HR manuals THR10, THR12 and THR14 and if you thoroughly read and understand these manuals and do exercises on system mentioned in these manuals, then you can pass your certification test.

If you look at manual THR10 it contains manuals HR050, HR305 etc and THR12 contains HR110, HR 306, HR505 etc. You can download most of these manuals from

<a href="http://www.sapsuperusers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=100043">SAP Super Users website</a>. You need to do free registration on this site to access these manuals.

I think, I find most of the contents of THR10, THR12 in this website. Meanwhile I managed to find out the contents of these manuals.

Hello Bharat,

I dont know about practice questions online but practice the exercises mentioned in these manuals, that would be good for you. Some questions in the test do come from these exercises.

Sorry I don't have a pdf version of the manual. This manual is the case study from the academy only, it builds on thr 10 & 12. They say that one might have question's from this manual in the certification exam, but no one I have talked to have had that. If you study 10 and 12 well you should have all you need. Sorry I can't help you, wish you the best of luck though.....

THR10,THR12,THR14 are enough for the exam

but if u r going through company sponcered ( as my company is likely to send me)

is the exam pattern and the curriculam is same for the people who write the exam as a practising consultant
