Information about: sizing the Portal, TREX and connection of LDAP

can someone tells me where i can find some Information of "sizing the Portal", "TREX" and "connection of LDAP" ?

I didn't found helpfull information or im to stupid for

By sizing do you mean the size of portal server, DB etc to be used

Then you should consult the NW2004/NW2004s Master Guides.
