Changing the Application server name

Hi,

I'm new to webdynpro and i need to know how to change the application server name in Webdynpro application.

i.e., I have done a sample application in that the URL generated is,

http://localhost:8000/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/zz_te_sflight

But i need to display the application server name instead on localhost, so that i can run my application on client browser.

In BSP we used to make this change in the Utilities> settings> BSP-->Application server and change the Localhost to appln.server.com

Please tell me how to implement the same in webdynpro,

Thanks in advance,

Hi,

did you try the way via icm/host_name_full as stated in the documentation?

Hi Heidi,

Yes, in the FQDN settings i studied about making changes in icm/host_name_full parameter in transaction RZ10 but i didnt know how to proceed further..

I studied the weblog by Raja,

/people/durairaj.athavanraja/blog/2005/08/21/running-your-first-bsp-application-in-sap-netweaver-04-abap-edition--nsp

where he has discussed about the entire process, using this i'm able to make the changes..

Now my application is running fine... Thanks for ur support...

Thanks,
