Document Posting Error - Please Help!!

Hi,

While posting a document in f-53 I have a error message "Rules for posting key 25 and account 100500 set incorrectly for "VALUT" field.

100500 is a Reconciliation Account (G067). Its a Sundry Creditors Account.

Can anybody help me with solving this error.

Hi,

I think the problem is field status setting. Field status is controlled by posting key and field status group assigned to the GL account master data. One is set to "mandatory" and the other set to "supressed", I think, for Value Date field.

Please check the setting with tcd:OB14 and OB41.
