Transports and patches when building a new system

When you are standing up a new ABAP based system, is it possible to import all of the patches first then bring in all of the configuration transports later.

Keep in mind all of the transports for configuration have been released immediately after creation. This means that some of the tranports were released, then patches applied, then more transports released.

You do not mention what release you are on.

There are patch installation guides available on the SAP Service Marketplace:

Hi Jeremy,

As per SAP recommedations the system should have latest patches including SPAM&SAINT as prerequisite.While applying the patches it may prompt to release the requests, then you can bring in all the configuration transports.
