Hi
SAP standrad provides bank account number digits maximum 18 only,i am looking for solution where china bank account number digits are 19 or 22 ,can any one tell me how to achive this,is there any OSS note for this or any work around solution.
Thanks
Lily
Hi Lily,
You can even use the reference field of House bank to put extra digits.
Account number BANKN - 18 + Reference info REFZL - 4.
While exporting the data use functional module CONVERT_HOUSEBANK_ACCOUNT_NUM and pass data in this.
This solution is valid only where you have new developments but need to check SAP standard reports for the flexibility.

Hi,
Look at notes 726298 & 109589.
Generally the additional numbers are entered in "Reference specifications for Bank Details", but there are also cases where the Bank Key field is used.
In China the Account Number format is
xxxxx-yyyyyyyyyyyyy or
xxxxxxx-yyyyyyyy-yyyyyy
(Lenght of xxx can vary) the xxxx (ie upto the first dash) is entered to Bank Key,
the remainder to Bank account.
Kind regards
HI
Go to transaction OY17- and then increase the bank account number length.
This is the possible solution.
Thanks
Ashok

Hi Lily:
Did you solve your problem?, because I have the same problem with a bank account from Spain wich has 20 digits length but SAP accepts only 18
If you dont mind help me, anyway I will continue looking for the solution
Thanks in advance
Hi
For China the bank key field is normally 10 digit and the bank account max length is 18.
I think you are adding the bank key and account number so that you are getting total length of 19 or 22.
Table T012 and T012D entries should help you.
Thanks
Ashok
