PV7I & PV8I transactions too slow

Hi all,

I would like to ask your opinion on how can we speed up the PV7I and PV8I transactions. Coz right now, these 2 ESS functions are taking up lots of time in processing compared to other ESS transactions. I would appreciate any input. Thanks a lot.

Hi Atel,

trace this function with transaction st01,st05. Perhaps that will you give some hints where the bottleneck is.

Hi Bernd,

Yeah. We have performed those analysis as well. We found out that SWIVOBJECT is a large table and it's taking a lot of time extracting the needed data. However, Basis was looking at archiving, but found that other systems can't archive their data much so that doesn't help us. Any other suggestions? Thanks for the prompt reply.
