Prevent user from printing the BP list

Hi All

Please advise if this is possible.

A client wants to prevent users of the system from printing the List of Business Partners window (please see screenshot).

This is the list from when they adding sales marketing documents and search for a bp.
Go to file print, choose table and it would print the list of BP's.

Please advise if this can be done?

Hi Jerusha,

Print preferences and user defaults will work only for documents and not for masters.

similarly you can not restrict user from printing master data through authorization.

And finally , the way your users are getting the prints is by default menu comes in the File Menu of SAP

which can not be controlled.

Hi,

I tested your issue and i was able to have the Print Preview of the table by clicking the print preview icon.It is not possible to have any restrictions on such.

I think the only solution is to consider thin client and control the user from printing and clipboard.

In the user Authorization  u could try  in order to prevent printing

Under Administration-->System Initialization--> Print Preferences
