Visual Admin on Linux Laptop

Dear All,

Please could someone tell me how to run Visual Administrator from a Linux Laptop.

I am using an Opensuse 12.1 laptop.

Open an xterm window.

ssh onto the Unix server.

set DISPLAY.

Run go.

I have set the DISPLAY variable to the laptop ip address:0.0 but I don't get an x-window.

Hi Russel,

The space might be a better forum for this question.

Have you tried using ssh with the X option? Try logging in to the server with 'ssh -X username@hostname' and then see if DISPLAY has already been set?
