My correct scored points are not reflecting in SCN Profile. I have reported this bug to SCN Support mail id but no yet received any response.
Hi Vikram. Just commented on your other post about this. This is a known issue IT is working on a fix for. Thanks for your patience as we work these kinks out during launch week.
Hi Christina,
Reward Points are not yet updated.....any progress :-)

Vikram,
FYI I haven't seen that problem. When I review my own userid, and click on the 'Reputation' tab, I see all of my points I have ever earned. For you, I see 932 lifetime points http://scn.sap.com/people/vikram.raj/reputation . Are you saying that you should have had more points migrated to new SCN?

HI,
When I login in SCN show following status :
In the Header you can see, only showing 129
Under Reputation tab following details are coming :
What is the relevant of 129 Points? In the Old SCN Profile shows total lifetime points only. Hope this will help you to analyze the Problem Area. Here in SCN as a contributor points mean lot so please do needful.
dear, the points you've highlighted are the 'last 12 months' points (but not lifetime).
this is a new site feature![]()
regards,
I don't know the purpose of this feature
, Do something to Show Lifetime points in Profile. Last 12 Months point showing serve any purpose.
Hi Vikram,
Points you acquired in the last 12 months define your Active Contributor status and the badge (250+ points). Lifetime points are one thing, but they don't indicate if someone is still an active member on SCN, that's why we introduced 12-month rolling points a few years ago.
Some people have a lot of lifetime points but for some reason they stop working with SAP, they don't accumulate new points and therefore it makes less sense to highlight them if they no longer contribute. People in the community need to see "fresh" content as things change so quickly in IT.
I don't think your total of points (lifetime and 12-months) are incorrectly displayed, I just did a quick check in your profile. But if you think there is an issue, please respond to me in this thread.
To learn more about the SCN reputation program, please read the program overview and the FAQs. You can also follow me to get updates about the program.
Best regards,
Laure
So after being active contributor my lifetime point will show in Profile?
You can see your life time points on "Reputation" Tab of your profile.
How can I see the points earned by others in the particular topic ? And how do we check the points of contributing companies ?
This used to be in SDN but as with every other thing this is hard to find.

Kavindra
"Correct Answer" will be appear who given correct answer for a particular topic, "Correct Answer" will marked by Requester who
raised the topic and as SAP SDN when you mark Correct Answer 10 points will add in Expert (Who given correct answer)
For example check this topic "http://scn.sap.com/thread/3146791"
Hi Laure,
I agree with clause. Even if some one has thousands of points and if he is not contributing to community it will make some less sense. Highlighting will encourage people to contribute actively.

Laure et al,
I don't really understand the emphasis on points. I have seen incorrect answers from members with high point totals, and I have seen correct answers from members with low totals. There is very little 'peer review' (e.g. members counter-arguing that an answer is not accurate). In the end, every answer must be independently verified and validated.
For me, the "Active Contributor" badges displayed on the posts give me more than enough info. The reputation tab on the user profile gives me any remaining info I might want.
IMHO there there has always been altogether too much emphasis on points on these forums. I search the forum regularly to find answers, and I post answers when I feel I can contribute. The 'Points' display doesn't buy me anything, and thus is irrelevant.....

Kavindra,
It would be better to post this as a new discussion in SCN Support
Not at all keen to discuss this. The replies to this have pretty flat "yes we have discontinued this" types. The SCN mods can decide what content to put and what not to put its there call i guess.
Hello Kavindra,
Did you get the answer for the question? Did you try posting it?

Krishna
