Hi friends,

Can anybody throw some light on Ecosys integration with SAP?

Does PI is needed for its integration?

What else middlewares are compatible for its integration?

Thanks & Regards,

Srini.

At begining you don't need a SAP PI for integration because ecosys has a certified integration connection with SAP applications:

The SAP Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC) has certified that EcoSys EPC Version 5 integrates with the SAP ERP 6.0 application to exchange critical data with instances of SAP Business Suite software. Integration is achieved through the EcoSys ERP Adaptor, an optional plug-in module that is flexible and scalable in how it delivers connectivity to SAP solutions.

Hi Iñaki Vila,

If PI is not required then how can we achieve mapping?

I found in Ecosys integration and design document as follows:

The SAP and P6 adaptors are installed
and configured; any required mappings are created. Scheduled batch processes
for import/export are defined and set up. Any XML/text/Excel batch import
processes are also set up at this stage.

Please clarify...

Hi,

you can use ecosys adapter for SAP

http://www.ecosys.net/resources/news/2011_02_25_ecosys_epc_achieves_certified_integration_with_sap_a...

so you don't need to use SAP PI
