Error in validation

Hi SAP Gurus,

While maintaining validation for business area through t.code GGB0, I am getting error at message number.  I have given message no. as 25 which is blank and filledup with the message " Company code I100 should use IBMH business area" then I saved it then again selecting it in message number box it is showing error as"Entry EZI031 does not exist in T100(check entry).  For your reference here I attached entire message. please suggest solution.

Change the message no in Validation or create a message no in the message class.

by changing message no in validation I am getting same error, system accepting pre existing numbers only not new numbers.

create a message in se91 for the message class which u have created.

The error you are getting is not for message 025 but for message 31 whihc does not exist in system.

Explanation:

E - Means its error

Z1 - message class

031 - message number.

This means you probably entered 031 instead of 025.

Go to T-code SE91 and see whether the message is created for your Message class?

Sorry I have given wrongly as 025 instead of 031. actually I have tried both the numbers seperately but got same error

both message no.025 & 031 existed in message class Z1  but they are not visible in message no.field
