Reported a couple of posts for abuse. When I went back into the forum later on, I see in the overview that a moderator has "replied" to the posts reported. When I go in to the actual posts, there is no actual reply and the reported posts are still there. Have seen this behaviour in both of the reported posts. Wonder what that is all about.
Hi,
The thread's get either locked or moved to T&P forum based on the standard of the question. The thread's which belong to the second category cannot be locked. As there is no proper T&P forum in new SCN, it cannot be moved. Hope you understand.
Put down your reports & let the Mod's decide what has to be done.

I am quite happy to let the Mods decide what has to be done, but I would also like to see what has been done - It would help me decide if I need to improve the quality of my abuse reports or even stop them altogether. NOt knowing what has been done baffles me, and the posts are still there.
Send a direct message to the moderator and get the clarity . I did the same ![]()
Hi Harish,
Sorry for misreading your post. It's the same bug I have posted here http://scn.sap.com/thread/3152920
IN addition to the notification being misleading, I cannot even see any action - no comments are appended to the post, links are not removed, the post is still there.. Even if I assume "replied" means "edited" I should be able to see some evidence of editing.
Just one more thing, I guess, of the new SCN. Since you have already raised a bug report, it may be looked into eventually, so we will wait and see.
Can you post an example of a thread you reported and no action was taken? I will have a look and point it out in the moderator forum.
I understand it is discouraging if your efforts in this respect seem to be in vain. Generally it is possible of course that a post is left untouched after review, but this should not be the rule, if your reports are reliable.
Thomas
Hi Thomas, Looks like I cannot send a Direct Message to you, as you are not following me.
Anyway, I went to copy the post url just now, and I now find the offending links removed and the moderators comments are visible. Looks like the moderator has been reading this forum too. I participated in that thread twice myself, and I am pretty sure the post was intact even yesterday. Anyway, seems like I now longer have a case..
