How to install the EPM connection manager on BOE4 Plateform

Hi experts,

Need your help, hope someone will be able to :-).

I'am in trouble while trying to install the Epm Connection Manager on the BOE4 plateform.

I check the EPM_OFC_10_Install - Section 4.3.5, saying the following :

Creating an EPM Connection for Planning and Consolidation version for SAP NetWeaver in the Central Management Console

You must install the EPM Connection Manager on the BusinessObjects Enteprise platform before creating an EPM connection

But, i don't not find any documentation on How To Do this 😞

Hi,

The SAP BusinessObjects EPM Solutions Connection Manager can be??? downloaded from the following location?:

1. Go to Service Market Place / Support Portal
2. Open the "Software Downloads" tab
3. Click on "Support Packages and Patches"
4. Click on “A – Z Index” and chose the letter "F"
5. Select "SAP Financial Consolidation"
6. Select "SBOP Financial Cons. 10.0"
7. Click on "Comprised Software Component Versions"
8. Click on "FIN CONS BOE PLUGIN 10.0"
9. Download the latest available Service Pack for Financial Consolidation Plugin for BOE 10.0

I didn`t found the location...

The plug in is integrated with BOFC software,

Just to be safe:

You are talking about SBOC INFORMATION PLATFORM SERVICES, rigth?

According to the description above, this should contain the connector.

And if I install this on the BO-Server I should be able to connect to the platform via EPM-AddIn and save/reopen workbooks?

what if customer doens't have BOFC license. Customer needs this tool to connect BPC as well. They don't need BOFC license.

Financial Consolidation Plugin for BOE 10.0 is the EPM Solutions Connection Manager Plugin. If you have BOFC license, you can download it as mentioned by Miroslav Mihok.

I did check the note, but i am not able to find the path as mentioned in the note. Infact i am not seeing SBOP financial consolidation under the F

anways we opened a message to SAP, i will update the thread

It's just "SAP FINANCIAL CONSOLIDATION", which is the same with SBOP  financial consolidation.

They can help you install what you need, and also, we believe there could be a requirement for a documentaction change / enhancement.
