Hello Everyone,

Im trying to create a variant with a dynamic date where the first date field will be blank and the second date field will be equal to today's date.

Example........."           " to 04/12/2012. I can't seem to find an option that will allow the first field to be blank. Can someone please help!?

Hi James

When you select “Name of Variable” for the date field at Variant Attributes screen, in the field where “Currect day” appears you can write E in the field “I/E”, GT in the field “Option” and press F2.

In this way you exclude dates after today. The result is the same that you want to get.

I don’t know if this is useful for your problem.

Best Regards.

Here is the issue..Im using F.31 to run a report for accounts that are over extended. I want to use the "Next Review Date" Column to filter out accounts where the their "Next Review Date" is less than or equal to today's date. The tricky part is not all of the accuonts will have a "Next Review Date" populated so if there is a date in the first field those accounts without a date will not display. It only works correctly if the first date field is blank and the second date field is equal to todays date.

I see. With the existing dynamic selection options, I do not believe you can do it. You can only make the first field less equal current date.

Hello,

Does '         to 04/12/2012' just mean 'less equal 04/12/2012'? If so, there should be no problem with dynamic date selection.

While creating variant, in the selection screen,

1. Selection variable = D

2. Name of Variable = Press F4 on it, You have many options as below

Current Date

From month start to today

Current date +/- ??? days

current date +/- ??? work days

First day of current month

nth working day of current month

First day of next month

Current date - xxx,current date + yyy

Date - xxx, Date + yyy (work days)

Workaround

Thanks,

Is it SAP stand report? If not, what kind of report, ABAP, RW or Query? Please attach the screen shot of the selection screen.
